The short version: no cookies, no analytics, no ads and no trackers. Fonts, styles and scripts all load from this site only.

If you sign up for updates

We store your email address, the time you signed up (UTC), that you signed up on this site, and the short consent text you saw. It is kept on our web host, outside the public web folder. It is used only to send occasional updates. It is never sold or shared.

Spam protection

To limit sign-up attempts, the sign-up form keeps a salted one-way hash of your IP address for one hour. It does not store your IP address itself.

Leaving

Reply to any update, or email socialmedia@nameittameit.com, and your address will be deleted.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and to keep the site running. We don’t use them to track you.

If you email us

Your message and address are used only to reply to you.
